• The Deacon Committee held a Members’ Assembly to elect 13 candidates to serve on the 2025–2027 Deacon Board: Chun Long (Jacky) Chen, Liya Gong, Hui (Jack) He, Tao (Peter) Lin, Wei (William) Liu, Michael Ng, Wen (Daniel) Shi, Lasa (Sarah) Sun, Hui (Vera) Tian, Fangfang (Veronica) Liu, Yisha (Isaac) Lian, Fanghua (Harry) Lin, and Zhongyi (David) He. A total of 218 members attended in person and online, meeting the quorum requirement as outlined in the church constitution. The assembly was chaired by Rev. Zheng Kui Yao, and all candidates were successfully elected with each receiving at least 209 votes in favour. The Inauguration Ceremony for the new Deacons will be held on April 27.
  • Church Safety Notice: Recently, there have been incidents of children and teenagers entering the kitchen alone for drinks and food. Please note that the kitchen is used for boiling water and cooking, making it unsafe for unsupervised access. A water dispenser is available, and drinks in the fridge are reserved for Sunday School and fellowship gatherings. Parents, please remind your children not to enter the kitchen without permission. Thank you for helping us keep our church safe for all!
  • The Child Dedication Ceremony will be held on May 11. Application forms are available at the front desk and on the church website. Please email a photo of your child to Connie (chinghanmak@hotmail.com) for the certificate. The application deadline is April 27.
  • On Good Friday, April 18, we will join the Chinese-speaking congregation for a special combined service at 8 PM. Our String Ensemble will be performing, and we will also share in Communion at the end of the service. We encourage everyone to attend.
